Black and White Screen?

I bought a new Xbox360 E and it has a different TV connector cable than the original xbox. My original xbox worked fine on this HDTV. How do I attach these new cables? There are no directions on how to attach them to the TV.

Everything works but the picture is black and white?????

It should be simple to fix.

A few weeks ago our tv for our upstairs living room broke. We decided to buy a new Magnavox 32 inch Flat Screen TV. Today I decided I wanted to move our xbox upstairs for this new tv. One of the cords to plug it in are a set of Red, White and Yellow tipped
cords. Now on the back of the tv there were color coded spots for the red and white but not for the yellow. I decided to put the yellow in different holes and when I plugged it into the green one I got picture... that's black and white. What should I do!?

White has always been my colour.

 

What cable do you use? Name that cable is that A/V cable (White,Yellow,Red), HDMI (Like USB, but thinner) or YPbPr (like A/V but more colorful cables)?

 

That´s a meter of what cable you use.

If you use the AV or YPbPr they use the same cable one part like a like a USB cable (enter in xbox and another like normal multi colotr cables enter in TV and...

The HDMI only 3d cables has correct direction...just put one in xbox and one in your TV.

If you already do that and know that we go to next solution....

Go to options video configuration and begin to test your TV resolution by that method

Put TV and 360 in 480 i (if the colors shows in screen ok next pass).

Put 360 and TV in 720 i (same case above)

Put your TV and 360 in 720 p

After the final one 1080 i and p if want (if in somone your tv loses color the problem homes in a bad comunication between your TV and 360 is rare but happens...)

If that not resolve try 2 more things:

Change your HDMI for other new or...

Test your 360 in a friend/family home in another TV to make sure if the problem home in your TV or in 360.
