Everyone seems to be a brand ambassador now, defending the xbox brand, Microsoft and trolling, crashing and burning everyone who criticize MS. for you boys i have to say, if you don't criticize (mainly constructive) nothing will evolve and nothing will improve.

The funniest thing is that the strongest excuse now we hear is "its all about games, that's what matters and graphics are in second place" to you boys i say this:

The 90% of the best titles and best games are multi-plats; exclusives from now on are going to be 10% of the market, so if you have system A and system B where A and B both are giving great titles whilst system A is giving better performance, so it is extremely
stupid to say well "it is all about the games, and that's what matters for system B".

stop being narrow minded brand ambassadors and provide some constructive criticism.

And for the boys who are just bashing X1 and MS, you boys need to work on your criticism as neither X1 nor MS owe you anything, you had the choice and you chose X1 you have issues, either sell it or push for improvements without insulting anyone.

As long as Xbox One games are backed by XBL there is no such thing as an inferior version of a multiplat for Xbox One. Cheers!

 

I clicked on this thread thinking I'll immediately post "Don't reply, just report." but OP was a bit reasonable.

However OP, Microsoft told their developers to not focus on resolution, that the Xbox One will upscale.

IF someone wants to purchase a console without doing any actual research, I'd much rather they choose the competition as it just increases the overall intelligence of the Xbox LIVE community.

From a business standpoint, Microsoft (and Sony) only care about profit. No matter how much either claim to "care about the gamer". So losing that potential customer does ding a little bit but Microsoft only loses about $29 for every ill researched customer
thinking the Xbox One is incapable of reaching 1080p 60fps.

 

i can't confirm or deny that MS told devs not to focus on resolution, however I know that X1 has a good upscaler.

Regarding profit, true dat, any company will be looking to make profit out of their products, this is why i emphasized on w things

1. Not to be an blind brand ambassador just cheering and defending a brand

2. Not to bash the brand but to give constructive criticism and provide true feedback (all companies and i work for one only scratch their brains and pockets when they see that customer are not satisfied)

what we have seen so far is when it comes to demanding titles X1 one can deliver 1080 or 60 (honestly ill take 1080 upscaled with a good SW with 60 over native 1080 with running at 30) from BTF4 i saw how much it changes things the 60.

the issue with MS is that they changed their marketing campaign so many times being reactive to the market, god knows what is their vision and how they are gonna pull power from a machine that was release prematurely and its vision was changed last minute.

honestly i am waiting to see. Challenge is what make companies strive or fail

It's true Xbox Live does make Xbox 1 great. Xbox Live is superior to PSN because M to me, is the best software creators in the world.

 

Its all about our own personal entertainment. It is all preference and none of us are wrong with choosing one over the other. I'm having a great time with the exclusives XB1 offers as well as the 3rd party releases, no matter how they run. The lineup of
future games also intrigue me far more than others. I can freely and easily express that however I see fit. And one main thing that many tend to overlook but some haven't in this thread already, XBL. There are gamers out there like me who has established a
great community of gaming friends to game with. We are all happy with out decision and it can only get better from here.

 

So they were offering a really good deal for "Tomb Raider: The Definitive Edition".



Trade in a select XBox ONE title and you could have gotten "Tomb Raider" for less than half the in shop retail price.



But you know what?



I'm having too much fun with all the games I've got on the XBox ONE to trade anything in.



So for me it's all about the games.



They're great and I'm having a fantastic time and if I'm a Microsoft Fanboi because I'm enjoying my XBox ONE you can pull all the faces you want.



It won't stop me enjoying my games.

there is nothing related to personal perception, when you have the same game running on two systems, and one system is producing better graphics quality than the other.

but again, this thread is about not being narrow minded and denying the facts, and is about not being harsh and raged with one's criticism

 

I agree. If all you do is complement someone, they will continue to do the same thing because they think they're doing the right thing.

Although I still think MS caved in for the already Sony fanboys that jumped ship with the 180 thing.

 

There is a difference though between feedback/constructive criticism and blind hate, and MOST of the threads on this General Discussion section that claim to be constructive criticism are not. You do NOT tell a child that they are retarded if you want them
to get better.

The old saying, "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger", constructive criticism is like slapping someone in the face and saying "don't do that", what these threads have in common are they're going for the throat and instead of trying to make the Xbox
One better, they're trying to kill it off entirely. (Like the people that continuously demand a kinect-less SKU)

honestly man, i do not want a kinetless SKU, i like the idea that devs can included in their games without thinking twice, and i loved how they did that in BF4 and NFS, especially in NFS voice commands are so convenient and work so well.

on the other side to deny the fact that i would love to see games running 1080/60 i would be lying, but this is not a reason to bash MS and the guys that works on the brand, with so many threads it became personal.
