    Bitstreaming Pass-through Invitation


    Please help if possible!

    I am an Insider but I didn't get the invitation or quest for: "Try Pass-through! - Unleash your inner audiophile with Blu-ray Bitstream Pass-through!" I do some AV integration and I need to demo Atmos to a potential client using an Xbox One S.

    Is it possible for anyone out there to send me an invitation? It is very important to me. Thank you in advance.

    I wish I could get a invite just found out about this yesterday as I was looking at buy a 4k blu-ray player becuase of this issue on my xbox one S. If anyone knows how to get in on the preview can you let us know.

    I'm not sure how this works. I've called into support 3 times trying to get someone at Microsoft to invite me but they "say" they can't help us. I tried asking the one guy I know who uses Xbox a lot and he wasn't invited either. I'm not 100% positive,
    but I think if anyone out there has this particular quest, they can invite another person to it. At least that is what phone support told me. Everything has to be so complicated with Xbox and no one seems to know anything. It's frustrating.

    If you get an invite, please let me know. In addition, if I get one I will invite you. If anybody out there can help us both out, it would be much appreciated.

    I just tried signing up for the Xbox One Update Preview. I too am looking forward to getting this Bitstreaming Pass-through set-up on my console. How long does it take to go from Pending Status to either Accepted or Declined for the Xbox One Update Preview?

    download the insider preview hub app. Once your xbox one is added to the preview program, you can update it. Its in beta but the bitstreamING pass-through works for both blu-ray and 4k blu-ray discs. Dolby Atmos audio playback definitely works on both formats
    now. Not sure if DTS:X outputs or not as I haven't tried the one DTS:X movie that I have on the Xbox one.
