    Bitstream Passthrough


    Please help if possible!

    I am an Insider but I didn't get the invitation or quest for: "Try Pass-through! - Unleash your inner audiophile with Blu-ray Bitstream Pass-through!" I do some AV integration and I need to demo Atmos to a potential client using an Xbox One S.

    Is it possible for anyone out there to send me an invitation? It is very important to me. Thank you in advance.

    Audio Bitstream Pass-Through

    Hi,I have the same problem with my Xbox One S, bitstream passthrough worked fine before,but not after the December 2018 update.

    Did you find out anything? ;-)

    Bitstream Passthrough is here...

    If you do a hard boot and look in the Blu-ray settings its there, you can enable it.

    Series X Audio Passthrough still not working

    Having the same issue. On my Series X and S yhe Passthrough will be checked but it does not bitstream the content that it reads. Disney+ Max and Netflix do not pass the audio to my receiver. Stuck with PCM no Dolby Digital passthrough! Been looking for a solution for 3 months now!!

    jupp its amazing how we "finally" got bitstream bit the most used audio is not supported. Lol

    Yeah I'm having the same problem too. My receiver can definitely decode the audio, as well. Very frustrating.
    Same issue here, onkyo 646 amp that can do up to atmos and dts x but get the same error

    Hey guys!

    Could you both try plugging your console directly into your TV and playing the Blu-Rays that have DTS HD Master soundtrack then? We're trying this as a troubleshooting step but there is a chance that you won't be able to select Bitstream. Hopefully you can
    though and we can try to narrow down if the issue is with the communication with the receiver somewhere or if it's the console itself.

    Let us know so we can dig a bit deeper please. :)

    is there any work going on with this issue whatsoever, we have had at least 3 updates since it was reported and there is no improvement even with the latest update today, I still get exactly the same error as previously
