Bitdefender Broke XboxPCApp and Reinstall Won't Fix

Hello,

Bitdefender had a false positive on XboxPCApp.exe and now I'm stuck. I've disabled my antivirus, and I've reset, repaired, deleted, reinstalled the app, but the exe never appears in the install folder. How can I make the Xbox app work again? I'm out of options, as Bitdefender doesn't register it as offensive any longer, and they don't feel it's their issue to resolve.

Side note: I was able to restore the exe but to the desktop, since its default intended run location is protected by the Store. I can't just drop the exe in for the same reason, making this hard to troubleshoot.

Please help me reinstall and get the Xbox app working again! Thanks much.

Hello again, if you uninstalled the antivirus and has not undergone changes, something may have been affected in the registry, at this point it may be worth reinstalling Windows.

Hello again, for CHKDSK to work properly, type CMD in the search bar, and run as administrator, then run this command: chkdsk /r/f/v/x

It will ask if you want to do chkdsk in DOS, type: Y after that type exit. and restart the PC.

Hello again, in this case try to do an SFC and u CHKDSK, there may be some corruption in the update files, and then try to reinstall the updates.

I have run sfc and chkdsk. SFC found some corrupt files, but checking through the logs it looks like some misc drivers I don't use. CHKDSK ran without issue. I still see a brief launch window and then nothing when I go to run the Xbox app. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and I see no change.

There must be a way to install this app again after Bitdefender ruined it. This isn't fun =\
