Bioshock

It didn't feel like a reskin to me, it brought the mystery feel back and felt newer enough for me. I loved it from start to finish.

 

LOL thats what I felt it was missing the mystery of Rapture. I hated the way all the NPC's just stood around with endless speech loops. Much preferred a deserted Rapture with splicers lurking in the shadows. Good that you enjoyed it though!

 

I picked up the second when it was on sale a few months back and the Minerva's Den DLC, don't actually think iv heard a bad word about it, just not got round too it yet! I agree with Genchy on Infinite, it was just over rated, if it didn't have the Bioshock
name it would of been panned.

 

can see this being on games for gold ... PS have to agree with genchy ... easily the best single player FPS on the 360 ...

 

Same here ingoish, wont be long now before we hear of May's games with gold and if Bioshock is on there, it would be sweet. You guys on these boards are my first port of call for game recommendations and if the lot of you are telling me I am missing out,
then I am. Infinite got awesome reviews so I am shocked to see a fair few talk of it being poor but then like already stated, when a game has a lot to live up to, it can be disappointing.

 

Infinite reminded me of the emperors new clothes.

 

Have to agree infinite was utter tosh, Bioshock 1 & 2 were awesome games which im happy to have in my collection

 

Weird... I really enjoyed Infinite... Maybe from more of a technical achievement standpoint though.

 

Found a copy at game for £4, by the time i used my reward points cost me a quid

 

GAME reward people? They must feel comfortable to do that after robbing me blind when I last went in there lol. Glad you bagged a bargain dude!

 

I'd never buy new from Game because they are a rip off, but they do some good bargains. Like today I got Alpha Protocol for 55p from GAME (online) using £1.45 from my reward card, now I couldn't say no for that price lol.

 

game near me usually have better deals than on their website and Cex, picked up Resident evil 6 from game £8 online went instore and it was £5.

 

Alpha Protocol is hugely underestimated, really good game where choices do matter, one of the best dialogue systems ever!

 

I agree with you there Genchy, Infinite did not have the same impact nor the same quality as the first one did. Recently completed it twice on 1999 mode lol :/

Bioshock is one of the finest FPS ever without a doubt, it's a must. Get it free or buy it, either way it's worth it!
