Bing $3 Redemption Codes

I am a member of the Bing Rewards program. I participate in this program solely because of the $3 Microsoft codes. I have two codes that when I entered them on my console, the codes were accepted. It even stated that by redeeming the code I would have $3
deposited into my MS account. I selected to do so but then it still showed my balance as $0 on my MS account. I thought maybe it would take a minute so I entered the other code. Same exact result. The two $3 redemptions have not been added to my MS account
though. I tried to reenter the codes but it says they have already been redeemed. Why is this happening and what am I supposed to do to be able to get these credits?

If you call support they can check on your account if it has been redeemed and they can also check if it's valid. We can't get into your account and check from here. You can always check your account balance on
http://billing.microsoft.com

 

OK. Well I clicked the link to check my balance. It showed $0 but listed both of the transactions. I sat there for a moment and it magically updated to the correct total, $6. I have yet to check this on my console but find it very odd. Why would this occur?
I've never had this happen with any codes before. There must be a reason on Microsoft's end as to why it is not registering unless I go to the billing page.

 

Just to add more information, these are not the first two codes from Bing I have used. I have previously used others without this issue occurring. Why is it now happening?

 

Most likely just a momentary system glitch.

 

Contacted support. They are looking into it. Waiting game now.
