    Hi

    I don't seem to be getting anywhere via online chat or telephone so thought I'd try here.

    My issue is I've been being billed for Xbox live for over a year now for a gamer tag I no longer have.

    Every few months I'm on online chat or telephone but online chat advisors say to call which I do but then the agent doesn't seem to either understand what I'm asking/telling them or say they can't do anything without the correct gamer tag.

    I can no longer call as I am currently poorly with voice and ear issues (totally unrelated lol).

    Please someone help me as I'm sick of an extra £5.99 going from my account for something I don't have.

    Billing Issue

    If this is for the video game then please check your download history. On the console go to Settings>Accounts>Download History to find the content to download.

    If it was for the TV show then give phone support a call to see if they can help. 1-800-469-9269 in North America

    I have having a problem purchasing an item off the Xbox one live store. I want to purchase a £3.99 item but when I try and purchase it the error comes up 'something went wrong. Please give it another try. If this happens again, let us know by entering %1
    at Xbox.com/errorhelp so we can investigate. I have been on the phone to my bank to check if everything was okay on my side and I've been reassured everything is okay, I have sufficient balance in my account so there should be no problem on that part, I've
    triple checked all my card details and every thing is fine by there. I would try and remove my card and add it again but of course the card I'm using is the one that my xbox live subscription is connected to so I cannot remove it. I don't know what else to
    try. what do you think is the problem?

    Billing issue

    Billing issues have to be resolved by chat/phone support.xbox.com/contact-us. If you still have access to the MS account you can try logging into account.microsoft.com to cancel the subscription.

  5. I don't have access to the account otherwise that's what I would've done. I'm getting nowhere with chat and phone hence why Im trying here. This is an ongoing 12 months+ issue of going back n forth n getting nowhere.

    I'm sorry to hear about the frustrations. Unfortunately, as bowski advised, the only people that can assist with billing issues are phone/chat support. We are public facing support so cannot help or dig too far into your account for security reasons. In
    your case, I would suggest using phone support, or having someone assist you with phone support if needed. They will be in the best position to be able to help you out.
