    Billing Information - Wrong Country


    I'm trying to purchase Gold using a credit card as the payment option, but whenever I fill out my details it asks for my state/province, but I live in New Zealand. And I don't wanna make purchases on the xbox, so how can I change the region to my country
    so I can buy gold on the Xbox store? Thank you

    billing option - wrong country

    Hiya! This is most likely to do with the fact that your XBOX Live account was registered in the United States, it won't let you change the information on the account for that particular reason, if anything it should be grayed out. There is no way to change
    it as far as I know other than making a new XBOX Live account for your specific country.

    Hello,

    I'm trying to add a new credit card to my billing information; but it will only let me select "united states" as country. (Actually, can't select the country)

    However, I live in Belgium (always have) and I'm having trouble finding a way to change it.

    Can you help me? Thanks!

    Wrong country - billing address

    Hello, sorry it took a while, but I sorted it out with xbox support help. Appearently my xbox live account was automatically present for US, so I was advised to go to

    https://account.xbox.com/en-gb/AccountMigration?rtc=1&wa=wsignin1.0

    then select the country (UK in my case) and despite I was told it might take 24 hrs to work, I was able to download the DLC straight away.

    Thank you guys, hope it'll help anyone who ecountered the same issue.

    Locked on the wrong country for billing.

    you will have to do 2 renames

    one to free up the name for 800ms points

    then create an new account which gives you a free rename for the first 30days purchases and downloads do not transfer over



    it is unknown when the previous name is freed up
