Billing Address Issues: APO Address

I recently bought a $25 Xbox gift card. In order to purchase something, I needed a valid payment option which needed my billing address. Unfortunately, living in an APO address makes it more complicated than it needs to be (If only it was THAT easy to
include AE in the city drop-down). I had both contacted support on the website, and over the phone about this, both revealed no successful solutions. I searched everywhere including old forums that had the same issue, some from 2016, 3 YEARS ago. Will Microsoft
update this any time soon?! Does anyone living in military/APO addresses also have problems with this?

I spoke with the billing department on the website, they had given me their sales contact number so they can manually input my information. When I called, their systems could not support it.

Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums. In regards to this issue, have you tried going through this link for

Billing Account Information? If not, this link will take you to a screen, where you will have to verify you're you, then will have access to the billing account information. When you select state, it should show "Armed Forces" for you to select.

I'm experiencing the same problem - tried today to update our payment information from our former street address to current APO address. Microsoft is completely unable to deal with it. I spent over an hour today between "help" via chat and on the phone.
I was told to "just use another card" -- the support personnel could not distinguish that this wasn't a CARD issue. After 30 minutes on the phone, I requested he elevate this issue and put me on the phone with a supervisor - but he wouldn't. I'm at a loss.

Did you talk to billing or LIVE?

IF LIVE then you need to contact billing

Thank you for the canned response, that does not help me with the fact that I am trying to give Xbox money and your company not supporting that. I dont not have a US "shipping" address, my card and bank account are associated with the APO address. Your
company is not making it easy for service members that are stationed in Europe. It is not user friendly and the phone # that you all have is useless. Make it easier for the US Military to enjoy our $500 machines.
