Billed twice for the same game

Hello,

I went on Xbox.co.uk today to purchase Skate 3 because I had heard that it was on sale at £3.74. I searched for it on the website and clicked 'buy now'. I used my Visa debit card to purchase, and then it said that the service to Xbox purchases was unavailable
before I could see that the transaction went through. So, about 10 minutes later I decided to go onto my 360 and try and purchase it from there. I went on the market, clicked Skate 3 and it sayed that I can't download it, because I dont owin it. So, bought
it. I then went onto my online banking and noticed that they had billed me twice, but the transaction had not properly gone through yet. I checked my emails, and Microsoft had sent me two billing emails, both for £3.74 for Skate 3, but the only time I actually
bought the game was the purchase from my 360, not PC.

Is there anything I can do to get my £3.74 back? To me this transaction is unfair as the first time round the website stated that it's billing service was unavailable, yet they still charged me...

I bought Assassin's Creed Origins yesterday. I wanted to buy the Gold Edition of the game from the start but I made a mistake and bought the Standard Edition. When I realized it, I've returned to the store anb bought the Gold Edition.

I was thinking the system will do the math and at the end I would be charge only for the Gold Edition, but it's not the case.

So now I have the Gold edition but I have paid twice the standard Edition....

I had this same problem today, same game. I've been charged four times after receiving the same messages. I cannot reach anyone for support on the site or by phone. What's going on here exactly?

 

No sure exactly why this is happening. I managed to get connected to Xbox Support and the guy said that I have incorrectly been billed twice for Skate 3, so I will get a refund. This is after I gave him my Xbox Gamertag, and he stated that this does not
normally happen, as this is probably an error in the billing service. He said I should be refunded the money soon. If I was you, I would try and get through to them as this seems to be the most simple way to get your refund for the game. I am just waiting
to get my money back now.

 

Yeah I bought Prototype 2 and it told me there was some error even though the purchase went through. I checked to see if my wallet was charged and it has been even though the marketplace still says I need to pay for it. I also received an email notifying
that I did purchase the game. I hope this gets fixed soon and that I either get my money back or Xbox fixes this so I can actually download the game. Until then I'm not buying anything else digitally until this problem is fixed.

 

i just bought the DLC for call of duty advance warfare which is 14.99 and it said i was block from purchases but i still got charge the 14.99.

 

Same issue here. Bought Army of Two: Devil's Cartel on Wednesday, got billed twice but the game doesn't show up in my library. It also doesn't show up in my download history because the download never started due to the issues with Xbox Live. Tried contacting
support via Twitter, no response whatsoever.

 

I was trying to buy the destiny Dlc and it didn't accept my card at first but when I checked my checking account after the second time I entered my card $21 were taken out and the DLC was only $19.99 which was taken out from the second time I entered my
card

 

I would honestly suggest trying to phone up Xbox Support using the numbers above. I checked my bank this morning and they have refunded me the correct amount so it's all good on my part. They did a good job and I'm happy that I got my money back. Anyone
with this issue I would suggest phoning them up and hope you can get through.

Personally, In the future I will just buy my games from the 360 Live Market.

 

I have just had tbe exact same thing!? So annoyed will be calling them tomorrow! Charged me twice for Skate 3 and said I am blocked from buying things? -.- This is annoying as I have been charged twice and still haven't got the game -.- hope this gets fixed.
