Billed for Free Trial

second time in last six months i have started a new "Free Trial" and billed... There's no record of the transaction in my activity and shows to be trial but it keeps hitting the bank. Support won't help me i guess i'm going to start disputing at the bank...
Is this some sort of new Microsoft scam? Any thoughts?

Why was I billed for the first month when it was suppose to be a 30 day free trial?

Yeah, if you signed up for a "Free" trial, you have to stay on top of the "Auto-Renewal" date otherwise you get automatically billed. Make sure you set a reminder to cancel the day before your free trial runs out.

Might I also suggest removing payment option on your account. This might help with the auto renewal too if it keeps renewing.

 

This is not an auto renew problem. Not even same card. It's being billed initially...

 

I would suggest calling support and let them know whats going on. As long as you can verify that you were billed for a free trial, I believe that they should be able to take care of this issue for you in a manner that will make you a happy person.

 

I just started the free music trial and found that they billed my credit card for each song purchased, I thought the downloads were free on the free trial and once you paid for each month the same thing applied, you download all you want for 10$ a month

 

please do not bump old threads it is best to start you own but you will have to contact support and talk to billing thanks.
