Big title updates!!!

Seriously these massive title updates need to stop. I don't want to wait over 7 hours just to play a game....So far this new gen has been stupid. Its like new gen new stupid people

Fallout: New Vegas & title update question

Hi, title updates above 5mb are stored in the game folder. Any title updates that are less than 5mb are stored in the cache. It has always been that way. So whether or not the game is a game from 2008 or from 2014, where the update is stored depends on
how big a size the update is.

 

blame ur commention with tech comes updates dont like it then either get better internet or dont play online

 

I download the updates within 10 minutes or less...usually less

 

I don't even have Internet and use a random wifi connection and it doesn't even take me 7 hours.

 

The 13 gig dead rising update took less than 30 minutes to do, your connection is the issue.

 

it takes me an hour at most for a 15 gig update

 

buys next gen game knowing files are 10X more than old gen.... has 2Mb DSL.. complains files take to long to DL...

Knowing you can set to auto update while in power saving.... and only install last few bits when you sign on... yet still doesnt use option...

 

the dead rising 13Gig update i didnt even do it did it while i was asleep and my xbox was in low power mode

 

faster internet= problem solved!

Ok I have a crappy wifi connection (Verizon mifi device) average 1.5mb, thank god I'm grandfathered in with unlimited data (59.99 a month) I can stream Netflix and Amazon prime and I knew before purchasing my Xbox One there would be big game updates that
would take me a while to download. Didn't you? Did you just dive in blind? Just amazed at all the whining that's going on around here!!! I did have a drive that went bad after 2 1/2 months but they replaced it the next day (Microsoft Store) there tech support
guy that I called and talked to was absolutely awesome (very nice and told me about the Store exchange that I didn't know they did) It's the dam truth that old saying "you can't please people all the time I guess huh"?
