    Big ribbon with test suggestions when I try and use my physical keyboard.


    So, I set my keyboard language to Japanese, and now whenever I try and play a game with keyboard and mouse support, or whenever I type with it at all, a nice big black ribbon with suggestions appears. As I'm not
    actually japanese    , i do not need it. Is there an option in settings to turn it off? Because whenever I try and play minecraft and basically do anything, it comes up, blocks my hotbar, and makes it impossible to do practically anything.

    by the way, the reason i put my keyboard layout to japanese is cuz im a wEeB!111!111!II!1!1!1!!!!!1!

    I understand you need help keyboard problem.

    I believe this is more of like a hardware issue of your keyboard.

    I would suggest trying out another keyboard to test and to isolate the issue as to where it is coming from because there is a big possibility that this has nothing to do with the game but just the keyboard itself.

    Thanks for the reply, is your keyboard used via a USB port connected to the computer or is it used as a built-in keyboard for the laptop? If it's connected via a USB port I would suggest trying a different port or switching to another device to connect to see if the problem occurs. Or if you are using a laptop I suggest you send it to an official hardware testing point for testing. Because there is no way to confirm that there is a problem with the keyboard. (If you're using a wireless keyboard, it's more likely to be affected by Bluetooth transmission delays)
