Big problem related to child accounts and online gaming, pls help.

So, first of all, I bought an Xbox One X bundle and made an account with my real DOB, and played some offline games, while I was trying to understand why online wouldn't work on games like FIFA where it wouldn't even let me connect to the EA Servers. When
I understood that the problem was the child account I made another one with a fake DOB and tried to go online, and it worked.

Now, I'm wondering if there's a way to change my first account from child to adult (I already tried to change the DOB on the "My Account" section and tried to put billing information on it, and I still can't play online with it), I can't just use the new adult
one because I would lose saves from a couple of games I already played, and more importantly while I'm trying to find solutions to this problem, the Xbox Live reedemable subscription is still active but useless.

And to make it even worse I can't even transfer game saves between 2 accounts, from what I found.

Also, just to note, that restriction is from EA themselves. You should still be able to play online with other games through the child account.

Unluckily it's not only from EA, I previously tried other games too ("The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel" for example) to check if the problem was only because of EA restrictions, but it wasn't.

I'm sorry to hear this is currently happening. Child accounts do tend to have more restrictions on them. In this case if you are over 18 or considered an adult in your region there is another option.

The option would be to fill out the Age
verification form.You cansubmit proof of age by filling out theAge verification Request.

After submitting this form, you’ll receive confirmation and follow-up emails. Instructions on how you can monitor the status of your request will be included. Please do not submit multiple requests. You can expect an email response within
3 days.

It's not possible to change the age of an Xbox account once it has been created. So until the age of the account reaches 18, you won't be able to promote it to an adult account.

Also, just to note, that restriction is from EA themselves. You should still be able to play online with other games through the child account.

I would suggest calling the support line because the child account issue is a big problem with most people, and since it is account related I would suggest that.

HI arjan, it seems like it is a problem with your account being restricted with 'Parental Control', which sees your account as a child account and prevent any use of purchasing and downloading games that relate to violence
