Big issue with Game Pass on PC

So, after speaking to a guy at Xbox Support who honestly sounded like he was about to die of depression, I have come to the conclusion that there is a serious issue with Game Pass on PC when you have multiple user accounts on the same PC, wanting to access
the game pass library. Before I begin, let me clarify that ALL accounts have a game pass ultimate subscription.

The problem is when you install games on one profile (and they're installed to the computer hard drive, obviously!) they show as installed on THAT profile which was used to install them but they DO NOT show as installed on any of the other profiles. Xbox
Support said this is because they are tied to the user account that installed them (from a license point of view that makes sense, but from a physical installation point of view that makes no sense at all). All the Steam games, Origin games, and EA games show
as installed on all profiles (but each profile needs a license to play them, obviously)...they still show as installed though. In the case of Game Pass on PC the Xbox rep basically said you're gonna have to install them on each profile...you being serious
right now Microsoft? Do you know how much hard drive space that would effectively be wasting?

If this is the case I am going to say goodbye to the Game Pass subscription on PC...

I can see how this would be an issue, if you want to play some of the more... storage heavy titles like Gears. It might be a bigger challenge for the team, knowing a little bit about how it's installed and managed per profile. The problem between comparing
it to Steam is that Steam is a marketplace, where if you can play a title, you OWN that title and they don't need to have a system or configurations in place to deactivate it when removed from the system. That said, I'm pretty sure there should be a way to
resolve it as an option to install 'for all users' on a PC as it can do with regular app installs, but noting that only Subscribers would be able to play it.

I would recommend submitting it to Feedback, since it is a BETA, and we should always work to let them know what we want to see in our products! I hope they hear you out.

Save progress doesn't transfer between profiles. It sounds like creating new accounts is giving you a new entitlement to a Game Pass trial, which also gives the original profile on the same system the ability to play the game, but eventually the Store should
stop granting new accounts more entitlements. At that point, you would either need to buy the game or stop playing.

In any case, deliberately exploiting these systems can lead to unforeseen consequences. As this isn't using the system as intended, I will lock this thread here.

Sub Nautica runs on my vive like it should starts steamvr and such I can try No Mans Sky but I would expect the same as they both have vr support on all other platforms
