    Big concern with new creator update and trion worlds client games on windows pc home edition


    Ok I cant nail down the exact error code for pc as the game nor windows gives an error code. I just get an error stating the **** files are locked and access is denied for Trion Worlds, Defiance and Arche Age. here is a few lines from the defiance startup
    log.

    all other resources load properly however the **** files refuse to open, I have tried to modify the security settings for the folder to allow the application packets full access but that failed.

    Any Ideas would be appreciated and none of this microsoft support saying there is nuthing that can be done I know there is something as a gaming community we can offer to microsoft to help find a resolution. Im going to keep fiddling with permissions and
    such If i find a fix I will add it to this thread maybe it will be of some use for other games. I also tried to turn of the game mode and it didnt help.

    Why won't Minecraft world show on second PC under same Microsoft Account?

    I have built a world on my laptop with Minecraft Windows 10 Edition--logged in with XBox Live. When I log into Minecraft Windows 10 Edition on a second laptop--logged in with my same Microsoft Account, my world from the first laptop is not available.

    I assumed it would be. Since the Better Together update is supposed to make it available on other types of devices, would it not also make it available on another PC?

    I am having the same problem, however, for me, it is my friend who is on the Xbox and I am on the Windows 10 version. He cant join the world that I created anymore. He can, however, join me if I create a new world and I can join any of his old
    worlds. I Have a theory on what the problem is. We were playing the game fine one afternoon and we both had to get off for a bit to do other things. When I came back it said that my game was updated and some bugs were fixed. From then on my friend can't
    join any previous worlds I created but he can join new ones. You will encounter a similar problem on the java edition of Minecraft if you try to connect to a server with a wrong client version. It appears as if the clients updated but the world it's self
    did not which is why my friend can't join. That is my theory at least. I did what you said above and it and it still doesn't work.

    What do you mean by latest Microsoft update? For the game? Windows Updates? Creator's Update? If you're not currently running the Windows 10 Fall 2018 Creator's update, I would definitely recommend installing that.

    Use the Games for windows LIVE Client. I have a Lenovo Windows 8 computer, and while i don't like the game, it runs fine on my PC.Tinker is another free GFWL Game in case you were looking :)
