    Microsoft stay safe advice needs to be changed.

    I am extremely upset to see that coming out of a deserved 7 day enforcement ban for communication disuse. Ie. Sending aggressive messages with bad language. I have been banned again for 14 days within 5 days of losing the previous ban.

    Why I cannot agree with this ban is because messages sent from my account fall within the guidlines as outlined by Microsoft’s own suggestions and support in how not to receive bans. Specifically in the Stay Safe section under harassment on enforcement.com. In
    this page it states that smack talk is acceptable. Messages sent from my account include “You’re awful” and calling people ignorant as they refuse to listen to my reason for messaging them and thus calling them an idiot. In my personal view, that is smack
    talk. Smack talk is purely about the game and decisions made by players in the game. Calling someone ignorant or an idiot in result of their decisions IS smack talk.

    (In Smite there is an in game chat system. In this chat system players become easily toxic as the messages are spammable and players become heated easily. This results in post match messages between teammates about how bad they played during the match. This
    these messages are MORE heated than would be usually. Thus the “Smack talk,” according to Microsoft, is unacceptable because it “isn’t smack talk” it’s just “intentional to making the other user emotionally upset”. Smack talk is contextually fine according
    to this page.)

    Thus messages sent by me have been taken out of context. I also assume that messages sent from my account are being monitored due to the recent ban taken. This specifically upsets me as I cannot undergo a case review to appropriate the reason to this exaggerated
    and rash decision.

    In the same Stay Safe page on Xbox.com it has a paragraph about trolling. My question is: how do you determine which user in the message conversation is attempting to anger the other one so they can be reported? Ie. Which of the users is “trolling?” Again,
    without knowing this I presume they look at the enforcement history of both users thus due to a recent ban pick my account. How is this fair to competent paying users and customers of your provided services?

    This is a biased enforcement and due to “Stay safe” being false and unreliable how can I use the social service without proper information on guidelines without a case review.

    Therefore the only course of action I can take is to not use messaging services at all.

    Before responding to this, I have accepted that sending foul language and heated discussions will result in enforcement action. These are reason why I received a 7 day ban. I understand that what I did was wrong. I also understand that my post here doesn’t
    apply to 95% of users of the social services provided on the Xbox One software.

    But this new 14 day ban has no reason to be put on me other than “oh look a previous offender has sent a message.” (Reason given because no case review is available).

    The point of this post is:

    To determine the reason of enforcement

    To make Microsoft aware the Stay Safe page is incorrectly written or worded as the information provided does not match with the action taken. Specifically against trolls or smack talkers.

    “Love being able to play games with my friends... oh wait I can’t because I can’t speak to them because my smack talk message was reported by a troll.” Woohoo. >YXB.

    Same i cant send messages to anyone, but my standing are at good player and have no recent enforcement action taken upon me, this is probably a bug with xbox live.

    I'm trying to check in on the progress of a report that I submitted
    There is no way to do that. If your report is acted upon and enforcement action is taken that would be between the person you reported and the enforcement team. They wont notify you.

    It would only appear if you have no Xbox live gold or recent enforcement action was taken upon your account which you would've received an email if not then lets head of to Here' and see if the
    enforcement website can tell you if you had action done to your account.
