BF4 UPDATE 710MB

I like BFs and I like CoDs. Titanfall is developed by IW which developed one of the best CoDs of all time. Seeing as that sounds a bit promising (they developed CoD4) and I like CoDs, I think itll be a purchase for me, and I usually only buy CoDs and BFs
every year. I do get other games for the family, but I only play those two and will probably play Titanfall. I dont think CoDish maps equals "small". Smaller than BF, but not too small. In the end, we will have to wait and see how it plays. I do believe itll
be a good seller. A "CoD-killer"? I dunno, and I hope not, because I like CoD too.

 

Call of Duty will kill itself. There's no need to title any games as a "CoD killer".

 

I think its kinda "outlived" the CoD-killer surname. I mean, its fun and obviously very popular. I think its gonna be around for a long time.

anyway, you hit the nail on the head, MAG was flawed, but atleast it hinted at what might be possible in an online shooter, whereas COD and Halo are stale, rehashed crap from one year to the next ...sure you love Halo, so does my 13 year old ...and he's
a mega-grandmaster-uber-general-halo-god-whatever player who dominates at halo....so?....he also loves chicken mcnuggets ..... I will say atleast halo stays interesting longer than COD does, due to it's vehicle element, but it still lacks any environmental
destruction or even environmental peril, like collapsing buildings for example .... titanfall is being released in February....who releases a ''blockbuster'' game in February? ....this is the time of year when devs release their intentionally mediocre crap

By the way, Zehqy. Back when I affiliated with the UXF folks I was the one who insisted you were not to gain access to the adult section, which was password protected, because you're a child. Just thought you should know.......

 

I never liked Halo much. CoD, yes. BF is fun too.

 

I've had a hot and cold relationship with the Halo franchise through the years. I'd play it when it first came out for a month or two and then lose interest. I've never known why it just doesn't hold my attention. I think it's simply that I prefer more modern
day settings so when the latest modern day shooter comes out I go to it. I liked some of the COD's except the ones that seemed ultra gimmicky. I enjoyed COD 4 and COD:BO the most because to me they seemed the least gimmicky. BF, well, I've just always liked
it, despite it's numerous flaws.

Destruction does not mean a game will be good. Look at BF4, levolution just makes most of the maps worse. Halo has also changed just as much as Battlefield has, while keeping true to it's core foundation.

 

The point is, I have a 16 year old son myself and if I found out grown men and women permitted access of questionable content to him, I'd be pissed because that's not being a responsible adult. And there was no pron. Just various "adult" stuff. That doesn't
necessarily mean nudie crap.

Anyway, focusing on the topic at hand. We should start a betting pool, maybe signature bets or something, re: how much memory BF4 will end up occupying on the Xbox One HD. We could set time frames for multiple betting pools. First sig bet would be how much
memory will BF4 take up within the first 6 months of release, the second, how much space within the first 12 months after release, etc...
