BF4 taking to long to start

Does anyone know how to fix this? I've uninstalled and reinstalled it, unplugged the power brick, restarted router, I've done just about everything but it still won't play. It's a new console by the way

please try the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

If that doesn't do anything then please try a factory reset (with keeping games and apps installed) via the steps mentioned here:

Taking too long to start

I keep getting an error message

Whatever I select it doesn’t load and then I get a message stating “......is taking too long to load”

Around the same time a message stating

German is available for Fortnite message started to pop up

I have tired re booting, re starting, clearing cache and game data, and checking all my settings. My network connection is fine but it still keeps happening

Help please!

 

Try to delete the game, clear the console cache and download the game again

Follow these steps to clear cache on an Xbox One:

Press and hold the power button on the front of the console until it powers down completely.

Unplug the power cable from the back of the console so that the power brick in not connected to the console.

Press the power button on the console three or four times. This will ensure that any remaining power in the battery is drained, clearing the cache on the console.

Plug the power cable back into the console.

Wait for the light on the power brick to change from white to orange.

Turn on the console using the power button.

Also like to add if your console is in instant on or power saver switch it to the other that is not currently selected before trying a hard reset and then plug it back in and turn on to see if it works then switch it back to the setting you had it on. Saw
it on a youtube video and it resolved a couple people's problems using this method.

If that doesn't work you could try a console reset y going to settings, system, console and updates, reset console and choose the option to keep everything and your console will restart. When it boots back up you will do a quick set up and sign back in.
After that try the game again and see if it works. Good luck! Fingers crossed!
