bf4 - so sick of losing my save game

I'm done with dice games. I will never buy another. I have lost my single player save games so many times. I thought after the last patch it was working better, but no. I was 80 percent through and it lost it again. This game Should be completely refunded.
There should be some action that gamers can take under such harsh circumstances like this.

What a joke. If you haven't bought bf4, do not buy it.

Lost Campaign Save!!

FYI. I've been reading on the EA BF4 forums where people are still losing their game saves even after the latest Dec. 19th patch.

i'm also getting sick of being put into games already in progress and my team is already losing by an appreciable margin

 

Damn, was thinking of starting the single player cuz i thought it was fixed.

I wish game saves were on the damn console instead of this stupid cloud crap.

 

Yeah having the same problem, got most of the way through the single player campaign only for t not to save even after the update as well!!!

 

It's hit or miss. My BF4 works perfectly on my console. Yes, it has crashed to the home screen a few times, but after the update on Dec 19th, everything was fine.

 

I've restarted the campaign twice. Multiplayer works fine for me but having to play through the entire campaign in one sitting is just ridiculous. This is not how you raise game replay ability....i happen to have the unpopular opinion that ms is doing the
right thing with cloud storage, it will become the way of the future either you like it or not, but they really need to get their
[Mod Removed] together.

 

Hello there, Can you give me some info and I will try to help you out. When you exit the single player, or even the multiplayer game, do you let it go to the main screen, or exit right away or turn off the console?

 

Try this,, when you exit either the SP or MP, always wait about 20 seconds, or until the flashing white box in the upper right corner disappears. This should solve your problem. I had this issue until I realized that icon flashing means it is syncing data
on the console and cloud..

 

My BF4 works fine. All my single player progress has saves correctly, luckily. All it does now is every now and then it will crash to the home screen. The game is awesome when it works! Don't give up on it yet!

 

Just wondering, how is the campaign saved if you play offline? Surely it must save to the console? Would that resolve it?

 

What I can't understand is why so many people say it's broken and unplayable and other gamers I know .....say they have played for weeks and have had basically no issues. Can't understand how a "disc copy" could be that different

 

From what I read, it's due to how the MP saves mess up/lose your SP saves.

When I read that, I stayed off MP until the campaign was done. I had no issues.

Now I just go and MP all the time. If I get bored, I'll go back in and wince to see if my saves are still there.

I have a friend that between that game and the fact that there is NO battery level indication (he was in 1st palce in a Forza 5 match, was a few yards from the finish line and his battery went out, causing his car to smash hard into the right wall. He couldn't
even turn the controller back on long enough to finish the race. As you all who play forza know, wining 1st place in online is challenging.) - because of this he has turned off his XB1, won't play it until they come out with their patch to fix a lot of this
stuff. Yes, he did get a PS4, but did so out of frustration.

I'd like to suggest that the patch come out sooner, rather than later. I keep having friends sell or abandon their XB1 consoles...it's getting lonely out there in MP land.

An unsolicited totally given freely for the potential good of all suggestion for MS in regards to the battery life not only bring back the on screen stuff, but bring back the blinking light on the controller. Or, if the LED under the xbox logo button *home
button* has the ability to change colors, then have it go as follows:

White light: [80-100%] -- Fully charged, great to game, "plenty of juice"

Green: [60-80%] -- Mostly charged, "You're good to game"

Orange: [40-60%] -- Partially charged, "game on for now, but get other power ready"

Red: [30-40%] -- Low charge, "Better get those batteries ready"

Red BLINKING: [0-30%] -- Very little power left, "get your rump off the couch and get more batteries!!!"
