BF4 campaign STILL broken?..

I'm not usually one to complain, but how is this even a thing?

I bought Battlefield 4 at launch (X1) and ended up returning it because the campaign progress would just erase its self every couple days.

I bought it again last week for very cheap thankfully this time haha, and it STILL has the same problem.

How can they seriously let such a game breaking bug go unfixed for a year after release? Literally half the game is broken

Single player campaign - COD Ghosts or Battlefield 4?

Normally I can't stand COD. I've got both Ghosts and BF4. I find BF4 far superior (when it works) online. The BF4 campaign is (IMO) awful but the COD Ghosts campaign is pretty good this time around actually.

 

BF4 Campaign

I finally started the campaign after two months of owning the game and loving the multiplayer.

All I have to say is thank God for the multiplayer. This is really one of the worst, scripted, hand holding excuses for a game I've ever played. I spend a majority of the game enduring story and dialogue from my teammates, hoping to just get to the action,
and then when the action comes and I try to aim and shoot, my crosshairs inexplicably snap back and forth away from the target, making shooting an enemy a painstakingly slow process. And that is when my teammates aren't stealing my cover and pushing me out
of the way.

Love the multiplayer, though.

 

I had this problem when I first played it at launch. I ended up playing it non stop start to finish so the bug wouldn't get me. I Still play multiplayer now that it's fixed and plays better. I agree I thought the campaign save bugs would be fixed. Im not
in a hurry to play it or BF3's campaign again.

 

Just sad. I had it happen 3 times. I had to play it straight through to avoid it. I'll never buy a game from DICE again. This was the first and last BF game I will ever play.

That game is check-booked. It's all messed up just like my check book.

 

I just got BF-4 free by buying CoD Ghosts/Black Ops II from GS. I've yet to play BF-4, but was wondering if these problems discussed here with BF-4 were limited to X1, or is it the same for the 360?

 

^^ I think I read somewhere that it wasn't just the X1, but I don't remember.

 

No doubt BF4 was a huge disappointment when released and was broken in so many places but honestly the Campaign was the very, very bottom of any concern. Odd though, I played it and never had the missing Save issue.

Meh, MP finally works and that's all that is really important. Too bad it took them almost a year to get the Game working as it should have been at Retail. I will agree DICE/ EA shot themselves in the foot and could have dominated the FPS Genre this Gen if
BF4 worked upon Retail.

 

Its rather disappointing, from what i've played it actually seemed to have a pretty decent Campaign as far as Battlefield goes..

Oh well.

And yea, multiplayer seems to work fine so there's that at least.

 

The BF4 SP campaign issues weren't specific just to the One. I had my saves disappear or corrupt on the 360, One and PS4. If it's still occurring for people on the One you probably aren't going to find it working better elsewhere.

 

Still curious as to what caused the non saves.. I finished the SP on 360 on both easy and hard.. as well as on the X1 easy & hard and not once did I loose anything... Also early on.. I never seen the issues people had with coding and lag and not being able
to jump over a rock... Somehow I think a majority of it was just local issues with people expecting too much from a game.. not sure...

 

So many issues yet still the best (and by far) shooter on the X1.

MP, which is now working, is absolutely superb

 

I wouldn't say "absolutely superb" but instead very acceptable. It still has a few issues that are minor but not trivial none the less. The constant Yellow Notice for a new Unlock showing time and time again is one. Another would
be the constant showing of Completed Assignments with a recent status notice at the end of the Match. It little things like this that are still annoying.

It was kinda the problem at Retail Launch that if enough small but as individual problems occur it lowers the over all quality of a Game. That I believe was BF4 worst problem. In the end it just makes for a frustrating experience.
