BF1 Gift Problem

So a few months back I pre-ordered Battlefield One as a birthday gift for my friend. I didn't really know how the whole system works, so I thought I'd be able to gift it to him somehow. I got to the end of the check-out process and didn't see anything of
the sort, but I didn't put too much thought to it since I thought he'd just be able to download it on his console from my account and play away using his account. Now that the release date's coming up, it's on my mind again and I'm not so sure that'll work.
Will it? Or if not, is there some way to transfer the license for the game to his account?

Yep, same thing here when I tried to buy BF1. Support will never help you, they just tell you to buy a gift card.

 

Never received $10 Microsoft Store gift-card with BF1 preorder.

I preordered BF1 and was told that I would receive a $10 Microsoft Store gift card for doing so. It shows the gift card in my order summary but I have not received the giftcard yet and I was wondering what I should do.

 

Umm. You can never transfer anything between accoujts

This is not possible on any console

Your only option would be is to go to an etailer or buy the disk game

 

You can't even gift anything except maybe on the wii but that's only currency not games

 

Buying selling gifting or trading or transferring anything is not supported

If you do it it's at your own risk

You wi have to find an etailer that is compatible with your friends region

You can share titles by downloading your gamertag onto his console and marking it as the Home Xbox...But I do not recommend it. You can only have one console marked as the home unit at any given time. You can also only do this 3 times in a 365 day rolling
time period. The console in your home would not be marked as the home, his would. BUT BE WARNED!!!! At that point, your buddy has complete control of your account, financial info, identity etc. Basically, they are now you. That's probably not be something
