bf1 edition controller drift

controller came with system ,controller and system just about 6 month old, first contact MS about problem was told controller only covered for 30 days ,really!? this is a huge wide spread problem please advise this guy hit the nail on the head!

To whom it may concern at Microsoft,

I have been having issues for the last few days with my Xbox One controller. There was a slight drifting issue on the left analog stick. Originally I thought it was an issue with the game that I was playing but noticed the problem persisted after I stopped
playing the game. I've been looking in the forums and it appears that I am not the only person with this issue. The drifting has been getting worse and I can no longer use the controller to play any games. How do I get a replacement from MS?

Microsoft, I want to be very clear on this matter. I am holding you responsible for selling a faulty controller. In no shape or form should the solution to this issue be "buy a new controller". As I mentioned before, there are many other Xbox One owners
who's controllers are defective for the same reason as mine. It is Microsoft's responsibility to replace these controllers. A less than one year life for a controller that I paid $60 for is not acceptable. I hope Microsoft contacts me soon regarding this
matter. I'm sorry to say that I am very close to returning my Xbox One but I am willing to give you the opportunity to correct this. Please reassure me that I made the correct decision by sticking by Xbox One and that Microsoft knows how to treat their loyal
customers.

Elite controller repair w/ console xbox-x warranty

Hi,

I got an xbox-x scorpio edition and I just realized the warranty came with an elite controller repair?

I got an elite controller that is now experiencing stick drift. The left stick drifts upwards in games.

The bumpers had also been repaired once already.

My main issue is: the sticker with all that info. has been taken off... and the online form doesn't seem to let me proceed further without a PID number?

Please advise.

 

Xbox ONE controllers are poorly manufactured

ive had my X1 since launch and both my controllers are junk. they both have left thumb stick drift. one controllers drifts down and the other up and right. but if you look at my controllers both are centers by eye.

I ended up yesterday going and buying the new call of duty limited edition controller for 70.00. I love it but do HOPE they have learned and this controller does NOT get those issues. Controllers cost far to much to keep replacing

I'm sorry to hear about the issue. Controllers have a 90 day warranty from the date of purchase. If your controller is within that time frame, we recommend reaching back out to phone/chat support and speaking with them about setting up a repair process.
If it is outside that 90 day window, your best option will be to replace the controller.

this problem has not been solved and no I will not be spending a extra $120 a year to replace defective controllers every 6 months the first time I contacted MS about this I was lied to and told the controller was only covered for 30 days !??!?!? WTAF!?
I waited 2 years saving to buy my xbox one ,did anyone even look at the post I linked? , I looked up on amazon and can re do the stick moduels my self if need be, which I will probly do , I tried to give MS the chance to fix it , I most likely will NOT be
buying the scorpio, or anymore MS games

Warranty information (including length) is always included with new purchases. It is definitely recommended that you read all the material that comes with new consoles and/or accessories in order to be as informed as possible.

Regarding your controller: Self-repair will completely void any warranty or any ability we may have to assist. Additionally, you run the risk of having your controller be considered a modified device which is also against the Xbox CoC and ToS and can result
in your account and/or device suspended from Xbox Live Services. You can review the forum rules that are linked down below.
