Beyerdynamic MMX 300

I am far from an audiophile but recently have taken interest in improving my audio. I invested in a pair of Beyerdynamic mmx 300 2 (based on the the dt770 model). The sound is great but I was looking for a dac/amp with mic input that I could use with party
chat that would be "future proof" with the series x and the loss of the optical output make it complicated.

I was maybe looking at the xblaster g6 but at the moment it doesn't seems to support the party chat and not sure will be compatible with the series x.

Anybody would have any advice for an amp/dac outside the the astro mixamp which I keep hearing very mix review.

That is one of many decent options depending on your budget. Now if you were to take those MDR headphones and plug them into the Astro Mixamp, you now have 7.1 Dolby Headphone surround sound. There are plenty of options out there for good sound quality and
"gaming" headphones are not one of them. There is a reason these brands only specialize in consoles and it has nothing to do with sound quality. Right now, I'm debating on whether to get the Sennheiser HD598's, AKG Q701's or Beyerdynamic MMX 300's. But even
if people don't want to go that expensive, even $30 Sennheisers sound better than what's included in even the most expensive Turtle Beach XP Sevens, XP 510's or Tritton Warheads.

I prefer Beyerdynamic over Sennhneiser. But Audio technia, Shures, AKG, are very good headphones.
