I have been dealing all afternoon with a very distraught 9 year old. He was playing on Fifa14 live ultimate team. He got a message saying 'to get 500k sell me a player and some points'. My son, and I, wasn't aware of scamming on xbox live, all new to
us. He's basically taken my son's best player, loads of points, gave my son a rubbish player and disappeared! He sent a message saying 'congratulations you've won 500k' and didn't give it!!!!

My son has learnt a harsh lesson, he's so innocent and naive to all this, as were we as parents. he adores his Fifa and is heart broken. I hope this doesn't ruin him gaming from now on. He's so upset all his coins are gone and best player.

i have chatted with Microsoft support who were great, they've filed a report and told me to go on here and name the gamer and to inform EA sports.

So I have!

Beware of Gamer Tag [Mod Removed]

Don't post names cuz mods don't like it. Nothing you can do and if he hasn't learned that a lotof people aren't trustworthy. I think he's lucky if at 12 this is what lets him know others can be untrustworthy. Sorry man.

 

Someone stole all my coins on Madden Ultimate Team

Yes I want to file complaint on [mod removed] this person took my kids coins over 10,000 on a trade but they did not get their player so anybody playing this person beware of this

Sadly all you can do is Mute, Block and Report them via the console as there is a no name and shame policy on the forums, sadly your son has learned a hard lesson as you say, another rule no selling and trading over live, but as far as the forums go I dont
think they will be able to do anything for you. SORRY ..... hope this doesnt put him off Live and he is back to it soon

Support were wrong to tell you to come here and name the gamer,its against forum rules.

Sometimes I wonder if it's really a support member that tells them that or if they were actually just told by an ignorant ambassador through the support pages...
