Beware GameStop Exclusive Copies of Oblivion: Game of the Year

Bethesda has done it again... and not in a good way.

Just recently purchased 'Oblivion: Game of the Year' (GameStop Exclusive) edition. Disc One of the game worked flawlessly as the rest of my titles playing off the disc and or installed too the hard disk drive, however, everytime I try too put in Disc Two
of this game (which initiates an install of extra content related material), my Microsoft XBOX 360 shows the game as not being recognizable!!! NEVER had this problem before and still don't with ANY game I own, even the games I got used from GameStop which
we all know has TERRIBLE quality control. In some cases of retrying the disc, I get a 'Play DVD' and only end up getting a Digital Video Feedback of the Microsoft XBOX 360 logo. Too this, there is only one explanation.... Poor manufacturing of the disc and
somehow managed too end up getting messed up during production.

Trying to get a hold of Bethesda now. So far, nothing... I have already tried returning the game too GameStop... only getting the same results from a replaced copy. Until then, stay clear from these GameStop Exclusive copies.

Content locked unlockables restricted to iOS is an injustice.

I see this as not different as exclusive DLC from gamestop or best buy. Not many of us will purchase multiple copies of a game to have all the DLC. I think the best approach is time limited exclusives, after a month release all DLC for purchase. That way
everyone wins. Most likely an ultimate version of the game will release with everything next year.

@Collapse. But without Gamestop, people would just buy elsewhere. Gamestop is also not even the largest retailer of new games. Walmart is. Forbes also reported that Gamestop makes about half of their money (2 billion) from used games every year. After they
get so many used copies, they won't even order any more new games. I use Gamestop.com as a price reference for game prices sometimes, you would be surprised at how many new copies of games say "Not Available".
