-beware- beta testing broke my xbox one

I contacted ms support throught chat .

I was told them would collect it within 3 days and have it back within 3 weeks .

After one week i had to recontact them .This time i was told i had to make a drop of at a local UPS drop of point (my local garage)

I explained i dont drive and im not able to travel but after 1 hour i agreed to find a way .

a week or so later i was able to make it there only to be told i needed a barb code or somthing like that so i walked home 1 mile in the rain again with my console .

I contacted microsoft for a third time , this guy was alot better , he told me it would be collected from my house and i had nothing more to worry about after all the hassle i had been thru , he assured me it would all be taken care of that day almost a
month after the console had stopped working and i belived him .

another hour into this chat i was informed the repair order needed to be canceled and another one set up . Fine but ihad to wait a few hours and recontact them so they could do a new repair order . so i was given a phone number and web address neither worked
and meant i had to set up my own repair order all over again and go thru it all again which i did anyway .but im back at square one again , last time i couldnt get a box in the post office to fit the console and i wasnt given the right details to send it back
even though i walked a mile there and a mile back in the rain . i was assured the console would then be collected from my house which it wasnt . i also had a 300 deposit set up on my bank account without my knowledge and to top it all of 6 weeks later im still
sitting here with a broken console .

All i wanted was a collection from my doorstep like they used too , ive bought no less than 8 consoles including limited editions on 4 of those , ive bought no less than 200 hundred games and played over 1000 ,, i have spent thousands on addons and ms points
not including the games and assesories whihc have also cost thousands , ive done this for both my account and my sons account for 7 years . I have convinced 30 -40 people to switch ps for xbox and made many more buy xbox as their 1st console , all those people
buy games and spend money and none of it is cheap . All i expect for my money is good service .

That good service is no longer there

someone reading this from microsoft could easily look up my account , see my address click a button and have someone collect the console the broke on me . But will they ?? i doubt it but i will not contact them again 4-5 times was 4- or 5 hours i could have
saved . the console will sit here broken , i will not buy a new one and i and my son will ot play xbox one again , when my friends ask wht the xbox one was like i will tell them the truth . That it was rushed out with little games to play it was all about
the money and competing with playstation , i will tell them the console didnt even last 6 months and i wasnt impressed with the little it did do anyway before i tell them you might be better off trying a sony , somethiing i have rarely mentioned since ps2

Can't get my XB1 to turn on via the Xbox App (on mobile).

Okay i like amehd, but i have to laugh too... an app to turn it on hahahahaha. Of course with that said, i better test to see if my app still works, is it just the normal one that's broke and beta works?

I skipped the beta app i figure i beta test xbox everything, i want my app to just be tip top shape.

Lol. It's useful for when you're hanging out with the wifey then you wanna watch netflix or check something on the xbox, but you're comfy on the couch with her so instead of getting up to get your controller, power it on, etc, you can do everything from your phone. It's actually very convenient.

 

Hi there as far as beta testing is concerned if you read the information prior to registering you would have known there was a chance it could affect your console. As far as your experience with xbox one,thats on you everyone else will have there own opinion
on the xbox one.
