Better the Second Time Around

Gears of War oddly enough. I did not enjoy it the first time I played it and thought the controls were clunky feeling. Then a couple years later I picked it back up and have really enjoyed the series ever since.

for me it was Dragon Age 2, I hated my first play through and visiting the same places over and over didn't help much. But those games have great story telling so I kept on playing again and again.

I would pick that one too. First time I hated it, nothing like the first one, but years later I have completed a replay of the whole trilogy focused on the story and the choices I was going to make along the way and forgetting about pure gameplay and I enjoied
it much more. Don't get me wrong, as a standalone experience it still is a medriocre game at best in my opinion, but that way it grew on me anyway.

Yes I have had this experience also the other way around I've played games and really enjoyed them bit on the second playthrough I've found them alot less fun

Bulletstorm bugged me a lot when I first played it on the 360. I gave it another try with the remastered version, and I like it this go around. I'm not sure why is gave me issues the first time.

Saints Row series, when I first played it ( at 14~) I just didn't enjoy it I've since revisited all except one and loved them.
