    Better optimization for bigger games


    Hello xbox fans, my name is Brady and today I want to talk about improving the original xbox one.

    My idea is as follows, bigger triple A games need to go through a mandatory optimization test that could last weeks. The game will be tested by Devs, xbox officials and the community or a beta. After this beta the game will undergo major performance
    and graphical enhancements to improve the game on a weaker console. The devs will also need to test the game on xbox one, xbox one s and xbox one x. Each console will undergo game testing and the weaker the console the more the optimization. If you have an
    original xbox one the game will be bigger and have bigger updates with more optimization. After the first test the game will go back into development for a period of time then it will be released in game preview or full release. Take PUBG as an example for
    it to be released it would go through a month of optimization then it would be released. This is a idea to improve your experience on a weaker xbox and make games more fun.

    Once again........ No functionality is lost. Software improvements have allowed for better management of system resources. Kinect will still function as it does today plus the gpu bandwidth boost. As the console matures better optimization for the system
    will happen.

    Is MS aiding devs. to patch performance/ Resolution post June SDK for previously released launch titles like TitanFall or Dead Rising 3?

    I've been reading about how developers such as Blizzard and Bungie have been looking into the latest June SDK to get better performance and visuals for parity. Do you think MS Engineers will try to get some of the older games (launch titles) to take advantage
    of the boosts in performance so they can also benefit from better optimizations equating to better experiences?

    most developers optimize already their games for the xbox one, obviously smaller teams will need more time, but optimizations are mostly made with patches and updates or with game previews.

    Pathetic system? You want bigger better games? Be prepared for bigger longer updates and dlc, simple as that.

    think computer updates they are large. we wanted bigger games the industry gave it to us along with better tech. thus the games are bigger in size.
