    i wish there was better customer support for stolen xbox ones xbox 360s. they (microsoft) often refer you to your local law enforcement but for the most part are lazy and useless and wont do a thing. If you buy it have serial numbers and all they should
    be more of a help. even having just a place to report to microsoft your console was stolen so they know when someone else is using it. I know a stolen xbox just means you want someone to buy another one to replace it but thats not going to be the case in this
    event.

    LOL A!recon, this whole company was based on stolen ideas starting from the very top. Do you really think they will offer us anything free for that matter? MS doesnt give 2 ships about customer service or customer loyalty. You can tell by the god awful
    customer service they provide....

    Sorry to hear about your situation. Hope you changed your email password? Home owners or renters insurance will cover these depending on your agency. Plus always register your new console serial # on Xbox.com just to play it safe.

    What exactly do you want Microsoft to do in your situation? Would you like them to actively investigate every stolen xbox by finding the thieves and hauling them into court to stand trial? Or should they do what they already do, which is coordinate with
    local law enforcement to locate your xbox? If your xbox is stolen you should file a police report(give the serial number to law enforcement) Call Microsoft and have law enforcement coordinate with MS to pinpoint where your xbox is. A police report is necessary
    in this situation, as you could be a liar who stole a xbox from a friend.

    Microsoft isn't going to help you. If your car is stolen, do you contact Ford, Dodge, etc? No, you call the police.

    Sadly Insurance won't help much either as most of those policies have a 500$ deductible..hence the cost of the Xbox One anyways.
