Those with an Xbox One digital pre-order for Fallout 4 may need to redownload the game before being
able to play.

Fallout 4 pre order

Hello Support,

I pre-ordered Fallout 4 and did not receive my Fallout 3 code. I did pre-order fo4 last minute (earlier on Nov 10). My account information does state that my purchase was indeed a 'pre-order.'

I literally just pre-ordered my Day One Edition from xbox.com.

I remember when Steam messed up the digital launch of Fallout: New Vegas because they were using GMT instead of BST times. I was sitting waiting to play FNV for an extra hour... it wasn't fun. Heh.

I am super-pumped for FO4. Super, super-pumped! Reeeeeeeeee four days to go!

lol... Time to prepare. Gotta get a flask ready, healthy snacks, and send out texts to everyone I know, saying that they can consider me dead and out of reach for... what... at least three days after launch? {XD

 

Days? Weeks! Two rules for me . First decision is final, no save reloads if I don't like the outcome. Second, no fast travel ever unless it's game dictated. Preparation is proper!

I live by the same rules!

I always thought fast-travel should have penalties, like having armour and weapons degrade - depending on the distance too. So if you go from one side of the map to the other, and across that distance there are like, five Deathclaw spawn points, Radscorpions,
and a Raider camp... you'd better be battered, and missing teeth when you arrive at... wherever.

But meh, I don't use it so... it was more an idea to torment people who do use it. {>_<}

You mean cost like in-game currency? That makes some kind of sense. It just cuts out the hassle of having to repair gear and buy supplies I suppose. {XD

I don't like how safe the Wasteland can feel when you beam around it with fast-travel. I like heading out and going "BWUH!" when a Yao-Guai from out of nowhere runs over me like a truck with no brakes. =)

 

Yea in game currency. I usually use it to get back to town after completing a quest especially if it's a big one want the reward as soon as possible lol

 

Paying is cool I guess. It is just like paying the cost of whatever your repairs and supplies would be had you encountered five Deathclaws, Radscorpions, and a bunch of Raiders. Plus, you don't get the loot from all that so, I guess it evens out.

One thing fast-travel is good for is, it auto-saves when you do it, whereas when you don't use it you gotta remember to quick-save often. Skyrim, FO3, FNV... long time out walking, fighting... game freezes... last auto-save was 40 minutes ago when you left
town... cue tears.

I hope that won't be a thing on FO4. I'll be quick-saving a lot until I'm convinced it isn't. Heh ha. =)
