Bethesda Has No Soule?

London Palladium presents a concert in association with Bethesda "featuring the music of "Skyrim"".

But nobody told Composer Jeremy Soule... in fact... they're not even using his music:

Rumor: Prey 2 Possibly Cancelled

Bethesda has no statement on the rumor that Prey 2 has been canceled, a story which gained significant traction yesterday. Dutch site PSFocus reported that the game, in development at Human Head Studios, was kaput and that an official announcement would
be made next week.

The last time Prey 2 showed up on our radar in a significant capacity was around GamesCom last August. As IGN notes, GDC talks planned for the game were cut a few weeks before the show.

This isn't the first time this year a high-profile Bethesda title made its way into the rumored cancellation mill, as DOOM 4 went through the experience twice in six month.
The difference? Bethesda flat-out stated "DOOM 4 isn't cancelled."

Who are these people who say they own the Skyrim videos? Its not Bethesda so no one else really has the rights o.0

 

Another site said Bethesda made it well aware it was someone else even though the guy in this article says otherwise so who knows.

If you believe this guy then I can understand him being a little upset but it also says Betheseda own it and are breaking no laws so what can he do?

 

He got paid for his work. And it looks like he did not retain ownership. So he smells of elderberries and old gym socks.

 

If he did not retain ownership they would be using his original score instead of a transposition.

 

^ The article states the work is transcribed from recordings of the original score., in other words it's being re-written without reference to the original written score of the composer, although the aim is to recreate the original as closely as possible
by ear. This is not a "transpositiion" which is the piece being played in a completely different key.

 

Well that's a good point.

The piece has been transcribed rather than transposed.

Good spot even if the import has been kind of lost on you.
