    Can anyone point me in the right direction for websites that offer sign up ups for Beta Testing? I've been in the new dashboard testing and have enjoyed it quite a bit so i would like to branch out and do more from time to time, i follow Major Nelson so
    i already know about that. Any help would be welcome! Thanks for your time!

    Microsoft will take sign ups for beta testers several months before a new update is due.



    As the others have said as this new update is now here the sign ups for beta testers is over.



    For the future just keep a close eye on these forums and
    http://majornelson.com/     for any latest info on beta testing.

    There is no specific program that offers beta testing on consoles/pc's/etc. What you would need to do is contact the development companies to see if they need beta testers for their products but from my understanding, most of the time the tests are done
    "in-house" where testers will come in and play the game at their offices.

    Over the years of gaming (I started in 1980) I have done I have noticed lots of mistakes in games and bugs etc. and every time I have looked into Beta Testing to try and help out so other gamers don't find the same type of bugs it has been the same old story
    "In House Testing". The problem is that gaming is not in house and some home systems run slower than others due to the machine or internet speed etc... and people who are at home testing would be more relaxed and frank about the feel of the games or software
    and you may find out a lot more than the present way of testing but the present testers will say not because they all want to make shore that they get pay from the games studios.

    I do hope that gives you all something to think about and maybe 1 games studio might take notice and do something about it Beta Testing :)

    my hd broke , I sent for assistance in my city because this out of warranty, put another hd but lack upgrade the system because I'm beta testing and not have to updating is to send the updating me. thank you

    Sorry to hear it. However, 3rd party drives are not supported by Xbox. As such there is nothing that anyone can do to assist you with this.

    The beta ended a while ago. Turn on your 360, and sign into live. You should receive an update.
