    It is a closed beta

    They only allow a certain amount of beta testers

    Yes the beta is available for all the platforms not just for the 8th gen consoles(Xbox one, PS4) Id add you guys to play it with ya but I just upgraded my Xbox 360 version for the Xbox One version of Destiny. It would of been cool to play with players on
    both platforms but they are both separate Platforms.

    Hey there RTG Elround! If you would like to become a Beta Tester for the Dashboard, just keep checking up on the forums and when they are in need of some beta testers, they will officially announce it. :)

    Thought I was going to enjoy this title. Not so much.

    I don't fault the play testers nor the alpha and beta testers. I have been in alpha and beta programs. We can only report what we find. If the programmers/company don't listen or don't allocate resources to resolve the problems, its not the tester's faults.
