Beta OS issues with game updates?

must be a glitch with 21h1 OS as the version you have is installed with that os update. ill update mine later and check to see if i get a similar issue.

That version number is weird as the 1001 version is the latest one that comes from the Store...is there some kind of testing/Beta version around?

Probably the game received an update, and as game updates are not planned to be compatible with beta OS, unexpected bugs or glitches are more likely to happen.

At the moment, I didn’t see similar reports from other players regarding the same situation with Roblox and Xbox.

Try playing the game once your console is in a stable OS firmware.

So I completely reinstalled my OS and game pass and the games have been working perfectly.... Then today it said there is an update for XBox Beta so i updated it and im now back to not being able to play anything

And as part of the insiders program you don't pick and choose os updates as you accepted beta os if you don't want a beta why are you in the program as you signed up to test os updates
