    Beta build possible issue regarding remote play


    This is the 3rd time this has happened to me using the beta build: * Remote play works and then suddenly loses connection * Remote play features somehow became disabled * Enabling remote play again does not do anything to solve the issue. * Connection continues to fail from devices * After removing console from my account the prompt to connect never appears. Sometimes the menu on pc or mobile will randomly cycle through sign in, prompt, to try again in a while something went wrong in less then 5 seconds.
    For reference:
    * Wired connection for both Xbox and pc * NAT type: open * 1027mbps down/37.5mbps Up (Xbox network test results) * Home Network * no issues reported for remote play via Xbox test * Xbox Server Status reported no issues with rep more play.
    Another note to add is that my 3 year badge had disappeared during the course of this both from the Xbox app and on the actual Xbox profile screen. My Xbox Ambassador badge remained however.
    The only solution I have managed to find is to remove the beta build and go back to the standard public release build. I have not tried any of the other insider builds to see if that also fixed the issue.
    Edit to add:
    I have made a report under the report an issue option however I provided extra details here when I found a current solution that fixed it for the third time for me.

    Thanks Gerry, seems it is likely the Windows Insider build. I dropped back as far as possibly from dev builds without having to reinstall andstill issues. Seems it's any insider build

    Surprised as the alpha and beta were absolutely rock solid in

    insider.

    Hi, if you're using an insider build please leave the program and go back to an stable build.

    Good news! I reverted to the beta build and after the update I was able to go through the setup console instructions again. It prompted a code so I am back remote with the series x 😊. I guess it was the alpha build that was messing it up. Should I try to go back to the alpha build? 🤔

    I apologize but that's not possible. Remote play is only available on a mobile device, Laptop, or PC.
