    Hi,

    I use the Xbox Beta App and after a recent update it said I could now upload custom gamer pics when I try to do this the option to upload the custom gamer pics isn't showing

    Hey there DOGGAVELI,

    Looks like you're using a custom gamerpicture now, were you able to get it taken care of? If not, try to uninstall the beta app and reinstall it to see if it works. Beta App :)

    Xbox Companion App Insta-Crash

    I've tried both the normal and the beta versions of the app to no avail (same problem in both cases, really), and have ensured everything is up to date (the app, the Store itself, Windows, etc.) and tried every permutation of these already (trying the non-beta
    app, trying the beta app, trying the non-beta app while the beta app is also installed, trying the beta app while the non-beta app is also installed).

    All I can do now is hope the game that requires the Companion App will switch to using the Xbox app at that point in time, because said app opens just fine, beta or not; unfortunately it doesn't allow me to bypass the original issue, which is that the game
    I want to play (while I can launch it through the Xbox app!) won't register my access unless the Companion App is functional.

    Still, if you have any ideas as to how to fix this on a file by file basis I'm open to suggestions.

    Tried to reinstall beta registration app - key no longer works

    If you used the key then you should have already downloaded the beta app. just run that beta app. But this is not the proper place for any discussion for the beta program. Please use the correct BETA forums.

    Hi Twined, what version of the app are you using? Are you also experience install issues using Xbox App (Beta)? You can DL the beta app to test located here:
    www.microsoft.com/.../9NBLGGH1J27H or go to the Store app, search for “Xbox beta” and it will show up as a search result. If your able to repro this with beta app, please help us
    out and report this issue by using the "report a problem" in the beta app. This will help greatly for investigation needs.

    Are you using the Xbox Beta app to install Gears 5? You need to use the Xbox Beta app, not the Windows Store app.
