Can I connect my Siberia V2 Cross-Platform headset to XBox One?

I heard that Siberia V2 is only compatible with the Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and Mac. Not sure if it will work with adapter. The new generation of headsets compatible for Xbox One doesnt include Siberia. See here: www.headphonesunboxed.com/best-xbox-one-headset

The XO series of headsets from Turtle Beach are pretty good and won't break the bank (less than $200). Also depends on if you want surround sound. Add more $$.

  6. I can vouch for the X0 Four. Excellent quality, and Directional sound pick-up. Very tight at first, but it loosens.

  7. I use the Turtle Beach XP510 model and love them. Never thought I'd use them much less buy 2 pair. I moved into a small apartment and have older neighbors. Out of respect for my neighbors I don't use my stereo. You cant go wrong with any Turtle Beach
    sets.

Buy the $25 chat adapter and use a headset meant for PC gaming, they are built with higher quality standards than the likes of Turtle Beach, Skull Candy, Beats, Astro and their ilk. For the best bang for your buck go with something from Logitech. They spend
their money on manufacturing, not advertising.

It works great and lets you balance the game/voip volume. More importantly, you can now use your $150-200 headphones for whatever you want.

    The G430 and this:

Get you the experience of a ~$220 Turtle Beach headset for less. Also, never ever spend $100 or mroe on a headset with rubberized earmuffs. That rubber will dry out four years from now and crack away horribly ruining the set which would otherwise have a
hand-me-down decade lifespan. Get the new mes earpieces whatever you buy, they're nicer in the first place because they don't make your (my) fat head sweat as much as the plastic does.

    Enjoy not being gouged :O

I have Astro a40s and A50s and they blow every other headset I've used out of the water. They're a little pricey but worth if you're going to use them a lot. Also the skull candy plyr 1s I've heard good things about but haven't used them yet. I'd stay away
from Turtle Beaches. Don't go cheap if you can help it.

Looking into this, I already have a pair of Sennheiser PC360's, along with an Astro Mix Amp. If I hook this up, will I need an adapter for the controller? Presumably the headset plugs into the mix amp, which in turn plugs into the XBox itself, theoretically
eliminating the need for the adapter? Will this work?

    @Tom

Just about any headset will work with the One and in all cases that I know of you'll need the adapter to use the mic.

I don't own the Senn but have both Astro's and TB XO Seven. Astro's win hands down, the sound is horrible on the TB's in comparison but it's to be expected I guess because the TB is powered by the controller.

I forgot that the PC360's plug into the Xbox 360 controller as well as the mix amp! Whoops! I'll definitely need the adapter. Thanks randver.

I went with the official Microsoft Xbox One headphones this time around. I was a bit reluctant at first given the price is only around $60. But they sound absolutely fantastic and I can hear which direction everything is happening plus great deep bass.
And the adapter is included with the price. I've used much more expensive equipment in the past and there's just not that much of a difference to justify the extra money in my opinion.
