  1. Best way to watch blurays from my hard drive?

So I'm messing around ripping blue rays, trying to find the best format. I tried W2TS but I can't get just the regular audio file to work. I'm only getting French, Spanish, commentary and the one where a speaker is describing every scene. And with MKV
it won't let me skip ahead. Not sure on mp4 yet but if anyone can help me on that it would be greatly appreciated.

    :)

  2. 3D Blu Ray

I'm hoping soon. I was so excited to be able to watch my blurays(and 3D blurays) in my room without having to move the PS3, and I got one of those taken care of. Got a huge stack of 3D movies that'd I'd love to watch in my room.

I think it's a shame that the PS4 doesn't have the support yet, considering the PS3 did.

No 3D pass through with Xbox One with DIrectv

3d is not on the way out. 4k is on the way in with even better 3d experience. Xbox one will not support any of those features. I've had an xbox one since launch and needed a replacement, they sent me one with a bad hard drive. They won't take away any
of the charges even though I still don't have a working xbox. Does it make sense I use my PS3 to watch my 3d blurays, NO! Customer service is not a priority for Microsoft.

Best way to watch blurays from my hard drive?

This has nothing to do with the one or even gaming for that matter doesn't really belong on an Xbox forum

  9. Using Acrok Ultimate. Yea I can get them to work video wise. Biggest issue I had was W2TS not working properly audio wise. Next question then is will mp4 allow me to fast forward through the movie on Xbox one? I know mkv foes not.

I used MP4 when I was messing around ripping to the Vita and that format seemed to work the best for that platform.

I don't ever recall trying to fast forward on any of the ripped formats so I don't know if there maybe is an issue with FF'ing and ripped content? I can't see that there should be but I guess all you can do is it give it a shot.

  12. MP4 is allowing me to fast forward, only format that seems to work completely on Xbox one if anyone needs to know. No quality loss so it works, just takes hours and hours to rip one movie smh

just takes hours and hours to rip one movie

That's why I lost interest in doing it.

I own a handful of blu-rays so I did it more just to see how well it worked. For a collector that watches them on a regular basis I could see the advantages.....easy to backup, saves wear and tear, removes risk of damage to disc etc.
