    Best way to remove console from preview program


    So I purchased two consoles and they are enrolled in the preview program from the build version and OS version.

    I know that they are on the preview program as was displaying the preview build and OS and the OSU1 did not work (obviously)…. To cut a long story short. I want these consoles removed from the preview program and as for the owners that enrolled them well that route is not possible. As the person I bought them from bought them online from someone else with the intention of repairing them and gave up.

    I have fixed the consoles using some update files copied from another working preview software update folder so they are now able to boot to the xbox OS / menu and have internet connection.

    I know you can use the insider program to un-enroll but as these a second hand how is the best way to do this. From what I have read and seen online some recommend enrolling the consoles again then selecting un-enroll.

    I have done this and it goes from Pending to Joined, then I select un-enroll and it goes from pending to displaying Join

    if someone can recommend or point me in the right direction how to permanently remove these consoles from the preview program I would appreciate that.

    Xbox Controller Randomly Disconnects

    If you're in the preview program simply reformatting the console won't work. You'll need to go to the preview app and remove the console from the program.

    Unregister new Xbox preview

    You will need to first post and the preview forums.

    Next you need to download the preview dashboard app which was sent to all of us via an Xbox message....use this app to remove the console from the preview program.

    If you never downloaded the preview dashboard app you will also need to create one post not to asking for a new token to download the preview dashboard app and then use that app to remove the console from the preview program.

    In order to get out of the Preview Program, you will have to start the Preview App (now renamed to the Xbox Insider Program) and there in the settings remove your console from the preview.

    Depending on the current system version you have, you might have to participate in the Preview until the system reaches the latest public release. But after that, your console is removed from the preview, and you should be on the official System Software
    branch.
