    The best place I found so far is in Shadowfen @ the weaponsmith in the first main city. Any other good locations? Thanks in advance

    light armor or heavy armor?

    light armour is pointless, you get a perk in the heavy armour tree that removes being slowed down while wearing heavy armour, im using heavy armour and am currently at 244 armour rating, nowhere near the best armour yet, using some steel plated armour from
    a follow that died, and a dwarven helm, id say spec into smithing as well if using heavy armour.

    armor help

    Light armour is really best suitable for stealth archers and/or mages only (though your pure mage is best in enchanted robes).



    If you're into melee weapons, heavy armour is the best way to go - and if you're concentrating on two-handed weapon (no shield), heavy armour is the ONLY way to go.

    Imperial Dragonknight, Sword and shield, heavy armor in the Ebonheart pact :) eventually I will play the other alliances after I get bored of my first character.
