Best multiplayer games?

Me and my friends are bored of the standard games, and we couldn't find a decent one we hadn't played. So, what are the best games that are multiplayer (2+)? Obviously not GTA, CoD etc. BTW we have every free game so far.

Best Campaign- CoD 2

Best Multiplayer- MW2 and CoD 4

Worst Campaign- CoD 3

Worst Multiplayer- Black Ops

Best singleplayer campaign-ODST

Best overall package (multiplayer, firefight, campaign)-Reach

 

How about lost planet 2, or left for dead 2, portal 2 I see you played dead island so maybe dead island riptide. or maybe operation flashpoint (second game canny rememebr what its called maybe red river)

 

Borderlands & Borderlands 2 are good, more a co-op than multiplayer but it's still something different and they're both great games.

I think Bioshock 2 has a multiplayer mode, not sure if that's any good though.

Left For Dead & Left For Dead 2 are good multiplayers too, even just running through the levels on co-op is good too.

Mighty Assassin was right Operation Flashpoint Red River.

 

I finished portal 2 with my friends, loved it, but yeah might try l4d2. I saw it was in the sales a few months ago and was tempted, but then I forgot. Never heard of Operation Flashpoint or Lost planet though, so I'll have to look them up. Thanks Mighty

My friends all have Borderlands 2 and say it's amazing, so I'll probs try that with them. Thanks Rockstar 1090.

 

I notice from your games history that you have hardly touched Red Dead Redemption.

Now that is a great multi-player game.

Upto 10 or 12 (I think) players in a posse on free roam and so many different multi-player game types to try, even down to horse racing.

And there`s always the zombie add-on for it too!

 

What about a driving game Forza or split second an older game but great to play with friends
