    They are all about the same. They offer about the same bandwidth. Stability is the key IMO. This will depend on many things. You should call any ISP's you are considering for stability or other issues in your area.

    I live north of 60 degrees. I use Northwestel. They have a monopoly. I think they're owned by Bell or Telus anyways. I wonder how much it would cost to run another fibre optic cable up north? Connections are good when I'm playing. I just use the modem
    though with a LAN cable. I don't bother with a router or anything wireless.

    It would help if you said where you live as different countries have different isp's.

    Fibre Optic is your best bet if you can get that where you live.

    Oh yeah, a BS 15 gig cap for over 60 dollars a month. Thankfully I notice my FPS gaming over XBOX LIVE doesn't take up too much bandwidth. Why is that?

    Might be a good idea to specify your Provence. I'm in Saskatchewan, and recommend Sasktel. While they aren't the most reliable in terms of stability (though still more than sufficient), they don't cap your downloads and uploads like SHAW does; so you can
    get the most out of your HDD and Netflix.

    I am currently with SHAW Cable, and I get nothing but problems with network stability, and their download caps are really pathetic (on my 5mb line, I get a 60gb a month cap, limiting my gaming/update downloads)
