Best headset all around for the series x and is it worth going cheaper for the Xbox branded...

Since its an older Xbox, then maybe the best option might be to simply buy a cheaper replacement. You can even buy a used one until you decide to go for the latest Xbox Series X.

I have been around the market buying the best headsets from all companies, I've had astro a40s and a50s, I've had top of the line turtle beaches and Tritons and I've even had experience with hyper x clouds, but the best headset I've found have been
Senheisers Game Zero SE, best mic quality and sound quality of any headset I've used

I can honestly say ive never heard of these myself. Im currently running some steel series but there going back. Ill be sure to go check out your recommendation.

Unfortunately, there is no built-in mic on the Xbox Series X and no bluetooth support if you're thinking to go that route.



You will need to attach a headset with a mic to the Xbox Series X controller. The Xbox Series X controller uses a standard 2.5mm audio connection for Xbox Live, you can use any standard headset. (It does not have to be something fancy or expensive.)

yes on xbox series x. with all controllers. wired headset.

I understand you about the xbox license.

I rather not want to have a wireless headset because I dont like charging and the battery life will decrease over time. So that leave me with two options:
1. Wired, 3.5mm into the Xbox series x controller
2. Wired, usb, into the Xbox series X

I checked the microsoft store and there are only 2 compatible series X headsets. Both wireles.

Do you know any wired Xbox series X headset? That is compatible with the series x? I prefer USB but have to go 3.5mm otherwise.
