Bell Canada Home Hub 4000 Does Not Support XBOX Gaming when Wired

Just switched over to a Bell Fibe 1.5Gbps plan, and have been running into a very weird issue with my Home Hub 4000.

When I plug my XBOX into the Home Hub (base configuration) via Ethernet to the 10G LAN port (or any LAN port), I get the following error when I go to XBOX Settings > Network, it says NAT Type: Unavailable. I run the “Test NAT type” and it gives me the error: “Can’t get a Teredo IP address”. This problem prevents Xbox Live to work and some multiplayer games like Call of Duty Warzone to not be able to connect at all.

Weird thing is that when I unplug from Ethernet and switch the XBOX to Wi-Fi, it says NAT Type: Open and everything works as expected, but with more latency and lower speeds.

I've tried every combination of Ethernet wires, turning on a DMZ, port forwarding, but no luck.

XBOX's support (https://support.xbox.com/en-CA/help/Hardware-Network/connect-network/xbox-one-nat-error#troubleshoot...) says what's needed is to:

Allow Teredo tunneling

Allow IPv6 tunneling

As far as I can see, there's no option for either in the Home Hub Advanced Tools and settings.

If someone from XBOX or another frustrated XBOX & Bell customers have found a work around, please let me know.

Best option in this case is to contact your ISP or device manufacturer, as every network device has a different settings or paths for the configuration of it's characteristics, some others has a different name for the same settings

You an also post this on the bell support forum so you have a better change to get support from other members that use the same devices

Is your Bell home Hub operating in bridge-or passthrough -mode, or did you simply disable the radio along with NAT?

If you could wire your console directly to the Bell home Hub, does is still get diagnosed with a moderate NAT?

On your Linksys router, I advice you to turn off Block/Filter Anonymous Internet Requests.

Also make sure your Linksys is operating with the latest version of firmware.

So ive tried with 4 different Xboxes now, 1 original xbox one (no issues) 2 xbox one S (problems with both) and 1 xbox one X (still problems) and it still happens!!! It seems to only work with the original fat xbox one. Doesn't happen with my ps4 that's
also wired. It seems to be an xbox compatibility issue with the new xbox one models (S and X) with the Bell modem called: Home Hub 2000. http://support.bell.ca/Internet/Products/Home-Hub-2000-modem

MS please fix this. I cannot use my Xboxes wired because of this compatibility issue with the modem.
