Being Signed out of Xbox Live in the middle of Netflix shows

Hello,

My name is Ken and I am thoroughly frustrated and disappointed that while I'm watching Netflix....I SUDDENLY get notifications that I've been signed out of Xbox Live....

I then pause the show I'm watching, sign back into Live, and then resume the show.....now I'm currently watching Star Wars - Clone Wars -- and there is an automatic download feature that when one episode is complete, it'll take like 15 seconds to load the
next episode.....then things will be OK for a while...then I'm suddenly signed out again!!!....so, I again pause the show and I sign back in and this procedure starts to happen more and more frequently; until I'm being signed out, at least, every episode or
approx. 10 minutes (if not sooner).....

I've already tried the resetting of my player profile AND I've tried "clearing the system cashe" (multiples of 3 times each clearing)....STILL no luck on staying signed in for any length of time.....WHY can I
NOT stay logged in to Xbox live for any longer periods of time....

I pay my gold membership fee religiously every month; never a problem taking my money....but this is getting extremely irritating in that Xbox Live
DOESN'T seem to care and recognizes my gold member; and
KEEP ME SIGNED IN!!!.....

Xbox Live and Netflix

While watching shows on Netflix, a message pops up that I've been disconnected from xbox live. I am then signed out of Netflix and when I go back to the home screen, I am immediately signed back into Xbox live again. I have tried clearing the system cache
and also deleting then reinstalling Netflix, but the problem keeps recurring. Any suggestions?

Xbox keeps signing me out still!!!

Are you being signed out right when you start the game from your Xbox 360 dashboard? Or are you being signed out when you're in the middle of a match?

Sorry to hear about the Netflix sign out issues. Is the issue you are experiencing with just the Netflix app or is it occurring in other apps as well? Let's see what we can do to get this issue sorted.

Please give the following steps a try:

First check to see if there is a service alert with the Netflix app on our Xbox Live Status page.

If there are no service alerts, try to delete and reinstall the Netflix app.

From the Xbox Dashboard, go to Settings and then select
System.

Select Storage and then select your primary storage device (most likely
Hard Drive).

Select Games and Apps and select any items that refer to Netflix.

Select Delete and then return to the Xbox Dashboard.

Navigate to Apps, and then select Browse apps.

Search for the Netflix app and select Netflix app to download the app.

Give the suggested steps a shot and let us know if you are continuing to experience issues with Netflix.

Do you see your gametag in while letters at upper right on the home row? If not, sign in... when you do, start by pressing the silved domed GUIDE button in the middle of the game controller which invokes the GUIDE menu, then go two clicks to the right to
Settings and choose Account Management. Then, once in Account Management, go one click more to the right. Is your membership showing as Xbox LIVE Gold or just Xbox LIVE? If it does not show as Gold, then you need to subscribe, renew, or sign in with the Gold
account.

One you are signed in with the Gold account, try the Netflix again. If Netflix does not recognize your LIVE Gold, then call Xbox Support at 800-4MY-XBOX and ask for help with clearing and redownloading the Netflix app.

I'm having the same problem. Usually in the middle of a show on netflix. Also, loading issues. Ever since the latest "update" things have been pretty crummy on the 360. I'll be in the middle of an episode and get random pauses in videos that have to load
again, or get logged out of Xbox Live gold entirely.

Clearly Microsoft listens to its' users because I see a LOT of replies to your post. Har har.

Along the same lines, my family was watching Netflix using my Live profile at home, and got signed out simply because I was at a friends house playing a game. It booted them completely out of Netflix and because they don't have my Netflix information on
the other Live accounts, they could not keep watching.

Why can you not watch Netflix without being signed into Xbox Live?
