Being signed in to another console?

Okay so im playing Warframe right, and all of the sudden I get signed out and it tells me I was signed in elsewhere.

My boyfriend is watching Netflix on the other xbox right next to me. He is not touching the controller, it is off actually. It suddenly pops up on his screen saying hi to me.

I would think nothing of this if there was a kinect on this console or if my Netflix account and live account were created using the same email. Unfortunately, neither apply.

I would like to know why and how I could be signed in to another console without that xbox even being touched.

Could your account be in use on another device?

If it is signed in on another device it will kick you out on the device you’ve signed in with. If you are being repeatedly signed in on the other device, you will be repeatedly signed out on the device you’re using.

It appears that someone else is accessing your xbox. Is your boyfriend on your account while watching netflix or is he on his own?

If he is on his own account I would advise you to change your password. There could be many reasons why this is happening but the only other thing I can think of now is that you left your account on another friends xbox, and they might be messing about.

If there is Kinect attached to console you've logged into sometime it can recognize others as you, and if you didn't restrict your privacy settings, it would automatically sign you in upon the presence of that person, or if the voice command is used.

It is also possible another person attempted to access content that would only be available under your gamertag. If you no longer have access to the console, you won’t be able to remove the account remotely. However, you can change your account password,
which will disable the access to your profile on the other console. Here’s how:

1) Use a browser to sign in to your account.

2) Click Security, family & Forums.

3) Click Change password.

4) Change your password, and then click Save.

If your account is on someone else’s Xbox 360 console, go to Xbox 360 Profile Protection. There, you can sign out of Xbox Live on all Xbox 360 consoles and require
a fresh profile download on all Xbox 360 consoles.

You will need to visit this link here and click "Require Profile Download", once you've done that, please reset your password by going
here.

There are two methods you can use. Either up at the top of this page, click on My Account. Scroll down and on the right hand side of the page you should see a column labeled Settings and Preferences. Click on Xbox 360 Profile Protection. You can reset the
logins on every Xbox by clicking Require Profile Download.

The second method allows you to reset the password requirement on the console you are signed into or on all other consoles.

Sign into your profile on the console, navigate to Settings > Account (or Account Management) > then move to the third panel. It'd be labeled Your Information. I believe you need to go into Account Security, but you are looking for the option to Require
Password. Choose All Other consoles to reset your account on every other console except your current one.
