If there was an offer of a one month gold pass for $5.99 and you chose that but were charged $39.99 then you should contact support to see what they can do as this is a billing issue that only they can deal with. However, be aware that what you paid is
a better deal as it equals out to just over $3 per month.

Step 1 ----Select Xbox One

Step 2 ----Select See other options

Step 3 ----Select topic (Ex. System Update)

Are these games that have been added to the backwards compatible group, if its an Xbox 360 game you are trying to use, then check to see if it has been revamped into a newer version on Xbox one, they have recently re-mastered a few of the games to Xbox one,
leaving the Xbox 360 version behind on the older console. But if this is an Xbox one game and it isn't working, check the disc for damage...If its not that then try hard restarting the console by holding down the power button on the front panel until it turns
off, then wait 10 seconds before turning it back on.... most of the time this works. If it doesn't work from there, you may have to re-download the game and its updates by uninstalling it and re-installing it.... If this doesn't work then I would suggest speaking
to our Xbox support team, as they can deal with more complex issues...

For issues with the Xbox reading your discs, try deleting your local saved cache and then power cycling your Xbox (hold the power button until the Xbox shuts off and unplug the power cord for a few minutes).
