Being Randomly Disconnected from Xbox Live

Hey, so... I've been having this problem that's been going on for over a year now. But now it's just gotten to the point where I can't even play online with my friends. Everytime I sign in to Xbox Live, I always get randomly disconnected 5-10 minutes later.
Then I sign in again, and then I get disconnected again. The cycle just keeps repeating itself. I've tried so much but nothing is working. It randomly started happening with my old internet, and since then I have gotten new internet. Everything was going fine
for about a month, until one time my uncle had to move it, so he just unplugged it and moved it a few feet somewhere else. And then the problem started happening again. Someone please help, because the problem is literally preventing me from playing on Xbox
Live.

By the way, I have wireless internet. My router is only one floor below me.

I am being disconnected from Xbox Live when I start to play World of Tanks and other games.

80151904 keeps disconecting me at the most anoying times!!

I keep being disconnected from xbox live randomly, iv entered this code 80151904 into xbox live error code search and it comes up with none error. Whats going on??

same problem - almost a year and counting - internet cant even stay on - nothing else in my house has problems except microsoft stuff

Can both of you please follow the
troubleshooting steps here, and then report back with your Internet Provider you are using, what networking hardware (router and broadband modem) you got, and how your consoles are connected (wired or wireless)?

Also, when telling us about your network hardware, don't just write you have "a Netgear router" for example, instead tell us the exact make and model (like "I have a Netgear WRT 614 connected to a Motorola Surfboard 5100 cable modem).

I had this problem and i was on the phone to the xbox live helpline for a good few hours and nothing seemed to work. Sometimes i couldn't connect to xbox live and then when i could (only on the dashboard) when i went to play a game it signed me out of xbox
live and i could not reconnect. Today i went back to it and thought to try and download my profile on to my xbox again, this seemed to stop the problems and i hope it solves them permanently!

UPDATE: I have found that the modem played perfectly with no disconnects. I set the router back to factory defaults and only activated the UPnP and left the ports and dmz untapped. I also ran a test and the test came up with open nat and no troubles at
all. Going to test the gaming now and see what happens. Will keep posted with more information as I go.
